The luminaire is designed according to the principle of three reflective screens which direct most of the light downwards. The screens are made of three-layer blown opaline glass, glossy at the top and opaque sandblasted at the bottom so as to distribute a soft and diffused light. The design of the PH 3/2 table lamp comes unmistakably from Poul Henningsen and is made to perfection by the Danish manufacturer Louis Poulsen.All Henningsen lamps are characterized by the combination of aesthetic design and intelligent technology: in this case it is specifically the head of the three lampshade, as known from the pendant lamp collection, which means that the table lamp radiates its diffused and warm light symmetrically downwards and laterally at exactly right angles.
