The Sacco armchair, designed by Gatti, Paolini, and Teodoro for Zanotta in 1968, redefined the concept of seating with its shapeless, ergonomic structure. Composed of a high-strength expanded polystyrene shell filled with internal polystyrene pellets, Sacco adapts effortlessly to the user's body and surroundings.

This irreverent and avant-garde creation broke with tradition, offering versatility, comfort, and radical aesthetic—qualities that earned it the ADI Compasso d'Oro for Lifetime Achievement in 2020, cementing its place in the history of Italian design.
