Spanish furniture brand Kettal collaborated with London-based design studio Doshi Levien to create the “Cala armchair” presented at the Salone del Mobile 2016. A majestic spatial presence with its transparent and light surfaces, the open weave of the rope provides a lattice-like window for visual privacy while maintaining a connection to the natural elements. The shape and materials offer many possibilities to customise the identity to suit different environments and projects.
