Heracleum was designed in 2010 by Bertjan Pot for the Dutch design label Moooi and has been since then complemented with diverse models. The Heracleum plant, also called hogweed, served as an inspiration. A ramified metallic structure and delicate, leaf-like diffusers turn Heracleum into a seemingly naturally grown plant, and a fascinating eye-catcher, providing at the same time a soft and atmospherical light.

The delicate metallic structure comes in copper, in nickel or in white. The arms which are obliquely and seemingly haphasardly directed hold the LED light sources with the small, flat diffusers of polycarbonate, featuring a soft, round shape which contrasts with the structure's design.

The collection includes the Heracleum II suspension with cluster-like, ramified shape, and the circular suspensions The Big O and The Small Big O, serving as impressive, extensive chandeliers. The Heracleum Endless offers a version with an horizontal, elongated shape, which can be extended at will if needed, and takes various shapes.

Heracleum can serve as a stylish design statement in private living rooms and also as an impressive chandelier in reception halls. Mass-to-measure light garlands, tracing the size and shape of a room, produce a beautiful effect in prestigious areas.
