Charles and Ray Eames

Charles Eames (Charles Eames, Jr) and Ray Eames (Ray-Bernice Eames) were an influential American married couple who made significant contributions to modern architecture and furniture design through their work at the Eames Office. Their collaborative efforts extended beyond architecture and furniture into industrial design, graphic design, fine art, and film. While Charles was often the public face of the Eames Office, both he and Ray worked together as creative partners, supported by a diverse team. Some of their most iconic designs include the Eames Lounge Chair and the Eames Dining Chair.
