True to his design philosophy that often challenges the rules of geometry, Nendo has designed Ring, a family of five coffee tables that play with contrasts between straight and curved lines.
The design of the light metal structure, defined by orthogonal lines, is broken up by large rings placed in different positions. In addition to breaking up the geometric regularity of the silhouette, the circles, depending on the size of the table, become connecting or supporting elements. The eye is drawn to the empty space in the centre of the rings, with an effect of space and lightness.
