PIOMBINO is a coffee table designed by Paola Navone for Baxter’s new 2020 collection. 6 cm thick forged cement top with polyurethane foam core and internal metal reinforcement structure. Bronze-painted aluminium feet, made with sand moulds. Available in three sizes. Piombino is a coffee table with an industrial design, with softened, rounded lines both of the table top and the aluminium feet. The name brings to mind the plummet of air pistols, the shape of which is echoed in the more rounded version of the feet. The impressive forged cement top towers above the aluminium feet that nevertheless manage to be clearly visible thanks to their circular shape that rests on the floor. Piombino will be perfect in a modern, industrial living area, but also combined with softer, more convivial design elements such as the Milano sofa by Baxter.
