Patricia Urquiola
Patricia Urquiola is a Spanish architect and designer renowned for her innovative and contemporary approach to furniture and product design. Born in 1961 in Oviedo, Spain, she studied architecture at the Polytechnic University of Milan. After working with esteemed designers such as Achille Castiglioni, Urquiola established her own studio in Milan. She has collaborated with leading design brands such as Cassina, Moroso, Kartell, and Flos, creating iconic and cutting-edge furniture pieces. Known for blending modern technology with traditional craftsmanship, her designs are often characterized by their playful yet elegant forms. Since 2015, Urquiola has been the Creative Director of Cassina, further solidifying her influence in the design world.
