Flair O’ Couture, designed by Monica Armani for B&B Italia, is a refined reinterpretation of the Flair O’ collection, introduced in 2023 with an original dialogue between contemporary design and traditional craftsmanship.

While retaining the distinctive geometry of the original Flair O’ chair, this new version is characterized by its striking woven backrest. Developed in collaboration with unPIZZO, a studio dedicated to the preservation and reinterpretation of traditional textile techniques, the backrest draws inspiration from the ancient art of bobbin lace.

The intricate weave is created using polypropylene ribbons and completely envelops the internal steel structure, transforming a structural element into a decorative feature. Available in four different color variations, the woven surface gives the chair a distinctive visual identity and introduces a rich tactile dimension.

Resting on a sculptural cone-shaped base with a lenticular profile, Flair O’ Couture is completed by two padded cushions that provide comfort while maintaining the clarity and elegance of its silhouette. The result is a sophisticated fusion of tradition and innovation, craftsmanship and industrial design.
