Defense is the most iconic among the shading sails designed by Corradi. Like Maestrale and Scirocco, the other two rectangular sail curtains – and not only – of the Sun Sails line, Defense is also inspired by the nautical world, because it is produced with the most refined and advanced materials typical of the sea. Made of stainless steel and equipped with adjustable sail, Defense has not only the construction components of the boats, but also the technology and, above all, the philosophy: lightweight and impalpable in appearance, it is solid and resistant in fact.
Freestanding or wall mounted, it consists of two sails that wind on a horizontal profile in both versions. In the freestanding one, the horizontal profile is supported by a shaped pole, with a satin finish and an inimitable design. This element, patented for its original line and the innovative aesthetic quality that characterize it, has earned Defense the mention among the 100 most representative design objects of Made in Italy. Thanks to the soft – yet firm – fold in which it welcomes the tarpaulin, in fact, the freestanding version of Defense redesigns the world of shading sails, making the technical support the most distinctive element of the entire product.
