In 1940 Jean Prouve turned his attention to wood as a material for development and design, for the realization of the stool Tabouret Solvay, produced by Vitra.
Tabouret Solvay is a stool with a sturdy top that rests on three feet in solid oak. The elements are connected to each other by a bent sheet metal structure. In memory of a tropical wood version known as “Table Africaine””, this new edition is also available in natural oak, smoked oak and American walnut.
Dimensions: Ø35 x H.45 cm
Structure: Noce americano oliato
