Roberto Lazzeroni, inspired to merge the worlds of art and design, created the Baxter Colette chair by using the principles of minimalism and airiness.
The Colette series features four unique types of seating, including two chairs (one with armrests and one without), an armchair, and a stool. The chairs can be configured either with or without armrests. The seats have a tiny and compact design with smooth and sinuous contours. The rounded and encircling shapes of the seat and back rest invite the user to feel relaxed within its confines.
The brass finish at the end of each chair's legs adds striking visual clarity. The cushions are supported by a framework made of birch and poplar plywood and have a density that varies with the amount of pressure applied. The elastic springing mechanism with woven ribbons in coated rubber ensures comfort and wellbeing.
The seats can be upholstered in a variety of luxurious leathers, each of which is characterized by a unique ornamental profile along the seam
