"This fireplace was designed by the renowned Dutch designer Roderick Vos
Vos means Fox in Dutch and Fennek is a type of fox
Roderick has opted for clean sightlines where you can clearly see the 3mm plate thickness everywhere
The models are also designed to be modular
The side panels of the Fennek 80 are the same panels as the Fennek 50 and have the same feet
The feet are equipped with large sturdy cap nuts and a stainless steel bolt is screwed in to keep the fireplace free from the ground and to avoid any traces of rust on the terrace.
The door handle is integrated into the right side of the door.
We made an extra indentation in the clamp hook, this can be used to open the door a little and then fix it
The side panels are hung on the stove and pressed firmly to tighten them.
But they can always be released later by pushing them back up.
In addition, air gaps were provided in the side panels so that air could enter the combustion chamber from the front of the glass, which kept the windows clean.
It also has a deep firing base made of refractory concrete, both of which are well known
For the chimney we used the same CorTen steel pipes known from the Quaruba series
The lower tube is also equipped with an adjustable valve so that the flame image can be regulated in some way.
Roderick found a new raincoat that fits the stove's design very well
This can also be optionally fitted with a spark arrester (the same one we use on Quaruba)"
