La Rotonda is one of Cassina’s most successful tables and immediately established itself as a piece destined to go down in design history. The large dimensions and the great skill of Cassina’s craftsmen in working with wood enhance the sculptural personality of this unparalleled collectors’ piece. A simple, sculptural base reminiscent of Max Bill’s work and a diagonal intersection of three square-section legs, sheared at the upper end. Three legs joined by a surprising joint, made by assembling four solid wood elements for each. Base in natural ash, walnut-stained or black-stained ash, natural cherry, natural walnut or walnut-stained walnut. Crystal top.
