Out of the collection. For the design of Tabouret Haut, Jean Prouvé was inspired by a traditional bar stool that is still very common: a small round seat that rests on four long sloping legs. A ring, mounted on the inside of the legs at about a third of their height from the floor, increases the rigidity of the structure and also serves as a comfortable footrest. Prouvé’s interpretation of this classic type is characterised by its simple, linear and clear construction and its harmonious proportions.
